Been a While

Wow its been forever since I have been on here and so much has changed.
I am proud to announce Shane passed his first year in school. I was so proud of him and everything he does for us!!!!! He is officially a second year apprentise and plans to go to school to become a third year in May 2010.

In early June of 2009 we found out I was pregnant. The first few months were a little rough and we had many scares but thankfully everything has worked out just fine. They thought our baby had downs syndrome, after many tests including an amnio we discovered our lil Cocoa Creampuff is A-OK!!!! There was also a worry about my and the babies hormone levels, thinking that the baby may not develop as fast as it should but that has also proven to be wrong.

We are so excited to have a lil one on the way. We have decided to keep the baby's sex a surprise and can't wait until we find out if we are having a little girl or boy. Either way we will be the happiest parents ever! The nursery is ready to go and we are somewhat ready to be parents lol there is always a fear of what will happen of course.

I was laid off from my job in September being almost 6 months pregnant. It was hard at first but now we are becoming a little more finacially stable and I am really enjoying being home so I can enjoy every minute of this miracle growing inside of me. Shane has tried to get in as much overtime as he can, some nights working 12 hour shifts. I truly love my husband for everything he has done and is doing for his new family. I could never imagine a day without him in my life!

Our lil one is due January 19th, which means that there is only 6 months left if you can believe it. Time has just flown by so fast!

Anyways I will try to post way more on here and want you all to keep in touch!

Shane starting School

So my Wonderful Hubby is starting his first year of school on Monday for Sprinkler Pipe Fitting. I am so friggin proud of my man. I know he is not only doing this to better himself but for ME and our family we hope to have one day! He will be attending from May 4 - end of June and then he will go back to work with a nice raise and will be a 2nd year apprentiser! I know he is nervous and excited at the same time, but I am sure he will do a super good job at it all.

To surprise him and show him how much I appreciate what he is doing, I took him shopping for his school supplies last night and paid for it all for him. Just watching him standing there picking out everything brought tears to my eyes. He seemed so overwhelmed at the same time lol so I am glad that I was able to be there for him. The only thing we couldn't find was a backpack that would fit his binder. Like why would you make a backpack that a normal size binder won't fit into??? Wierd! So that will be our mission for this weekend and then he is already to go!!!
So I guess to start this off I should tell you all a little about myself.

I am 23 years old and am married to a WONDERFUL Husband. My hubbies name is Shane Proctor and he is 26 years old. We were married on June 21, 2008 on a beautiful day infront of the Bow River here in Calgary. We started dating May 16, 2003 and have been together ever since, our brothers were and still are best friends since they were 3 and they were the ones who set us up. Shane was my grad date too while I was still in Grade 12. We bought a house after being together for almost 2 years in the neighbourhood we were both raised in, on April 15, 2005. Shane proposed on our 4 year Anneversary at my favorite resturant Open Seaseme with my best friend and his girl friend at the time, both our brothers and their girl friends on a private balcony. It was super romantic!!!

Now its almost our 1 year Anneversary for being married and life could not be better. We have our ups and downs but always seem to make it through everything together.

A blog of my own
